Notes

This is a 1940s Oyster Grenfell, part of the Canadian Oyster series. The Grenfell is one of the rarer variations, making it a noteworthy collector’s piece. The gold-filled case measures 29mm and retains its original Oyster-patented winding crown. The stainless steel Oyster case back dates this watch to 1938.
These Canadian Oyster watches were marketed to soldiers heading overseas during World War II and remain an under appreciated piece of horological history.
