Notes

Part of the first series of the reference 3525 as evidenced by the serial number and reference on the caseback, these early Rolex stainless steel chronographs are amongst, in our opinion, the most attractive ever produced. This early example still has a thick case as well as crisp and deep numbers on the outer caseback. The original dial has aged to a warm cream color and the blue telemeter scale is still clearly visible and the Art-Deco numerals throughout the dial is a much rarer configuration than the mixed arabic and baton index that are found on most examples. Never offered at auction before and in great original condition, we are delighted to offer this well-preserved and rare 3525.
