ROLEX REF. 4467 YELLOW GOLD EARLY DATEJUST - SO-CALLED "OVETONE" Rolex, "Oyster Perpetual, Datejust, Officially Certified Chronometer", case No. 460439, Ref. 4467. Case No. 602728. Made in the late 1940s. Very fine and rare, center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, tonneau-shaped, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with date and a gold-plated Rolex buckle.

Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, screw-down case back and Rolex Oyster crown, reeded bezel. Matte silver with applied gold faceted dart indexes, luminous dots, outer minute/seconds track, aperture for the date. Luminous yellow gold Alpha hands. 10 1/2''' rhodium plated, 18 jewels, lever escapement, Superbalance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring.
