The precursor to the Datejust, reference 4467 known to collectors as Ovettone, was made for 4 years only and in very limited quantities. Made in 18k yellow gold only, its characteristics were its large case size for the time, 36 mm.and the fact that the movement required a large rotor that increased greatly its size and wrist presence. Completely overhauled through Bucherer Geneva in April 2017 at a cost of CHF 3'190, the watch is in fantastic ready to wear condition and its original two-tone dial is in impeccable condition, a rare find for the discerning collector.
