Nicknamed "Jean Claude Killy" in homage to the famous alpine skier, who has been a Rolex ambassador and also serving on their board, this model has been officially named " Dato-Compax" by Rolex. It was the very first reference with triple date and chronograph.
Produced in yellow and pink gold as well as in stainless steel, these rare and highly desirable timepieces were manufactured for approximately 20 years, with the references 4767, 5036, 6036 and 6236. Various variants differentiate these references. This present example features a beautiful gold calendar hand, perfectly matching with the gold pyramidal indexes.
Preserved in a very good condition, this chronograph will complete very well your collection as the most complicated Rolex chronograph.
