The reference 4768 features a chronograph combined with a triple date function. As these early chronographs were non-waterproof many dial are found either heavily oxidised or reprinted.

With its fully original dial with pink pyramid indexes and arabic numeral matching to the bezel, crown and pushers, a red tachometer scale as well as having its Rolex crown logo and serial numbers on the outer visible still crisp, it reflects the amazing quality of preservation of this important early Rolex chronograph.
