The Rolex Beta Quartz, so called "the Texan" by collectors, was an attempt by Rolex to commercialize the famous Beta 21 quartz movement. While exact production numbers are of course not known, it is believed that about 1000 watches total were produced mostly in yellow gold (white gold were made in much smaller quantities). This example has been kept in excellent condition, a near mint champagne dial with all lume plots present perfectly matching the original hands.
