ROLEX REF 5508 SUBMARINER GILT The Rolex Submariner is no doubt one of the most successful Rolex models in history, introduced over 66 years, still in the production today. In the early submariner series, they have 3 models with big crown and 4 models with a small crown. The ref 5508 was the last submariner bear with a small crown, no crown guard and 100m=330ft depth rating. This presented Ref 5508 is in superb condition the inside case back stamp III 66. The gilt dial has aged nicely and remains glossy, the gold and silver printing remains clear and intact. The luminous on the dial and the original hands still glow as they should.
