Made as a replacement for the previous Big Crown Submariner reference 6538, the 5510 was similar in all points to its previous model. Made for only 1 year, the 5510 retained the large 8mm Brevet crown and was equipped with a 2-line dial with the depth printing in silver. This example has a beautiful patinated brown-coloured dial, matching patina to the hands and indexes, its original bezel and insert and matching year stamped on the bracelet. A very beautiful example of the 5510 Submariner.
