ROLEX REF. 5512 POINTED CROWN GUARD Rolex, "Oyster Perpetual, 200 m = 660 ft, Submariner, Superlative Chronometer, Officially Certified," case No. 677832, Ref. 5512. Made circa 1960. Very fine and rare, center seconds, self-winding, water resistant, stainless steel diver's wristwatch with a stainless steel Oyster Fliplock bracelet.

Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, graduated bi-directional revolving black bezel for the decompression times, winding-crown protected by the pointed crown guard. Matte black with painted luminous round, triangular and baton indexes, outer minute track. Luminous steel skeleton hands. Cal. 1560, rhodium-plated, 26 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, selfcompensating Breguet balance spring, Microstella regulating screws.
