From 1962 until 1989, the reference 5513 was one of the longest produced references, yet remains one of the most popular. Characterised by a plain dial, free from the magnifying glass, loved or hated by many, the 5513 is considered one of the more simpler and elegant designs. Made in 1989 and known to Italians as the ‘Bicchierini’ due to the white gold surrounding markers, this L serial was the last year the 5513 was produced before being replaced by the 14060 and complete with its box and papers represents the last of an era.
