Notes

Property of the original Swiss family
Consigned by the son of the original owner who purchased the watch new at Rolex in Geneva, it has been kept in amazing condition for its age. Extremely rarely found with its original box, warranty leaflet dated June 1953, original chronometer paper with matching date and its COSC,
the watch still exhibits a deep hallmark on the lug and 2 service marks inside the caseback which is probably when the dial and hands were exchanged. Early Datejust’s such as this example complete with all its matching documentation are extremely rare.
