Known to collectors as the Pre-Explorer due to its dial configuration, this reference was launched in 1950 and was only produced for 3 years before being replaced by the first model to actually be called Explorer, the reference 6350. Kept in very good overall condition with a strong case and well-preserved dial, these pre-explorers were made in small numbers and it is a rare chance to acquire a piece of "Explorer" history.
