Notes

Probably one of the most iconic references ever made by Rolex, the 6200 was the most resistant dive watch offered by the firm with a large 8mm crown and a depth resistance of 200m. With increasing worries concerning the radiation emitted by the radioactive material such as the famous recall of the 6542 bakelite bezels, the same concerns applied to early Submariners as well.
Fitted with a gilt dial but with the mention t-25 added to the dial, it appears that Rolex at some point replaced the radium with tritium as well as the hands and simply added the mention on the dial (while removing the radium) rather than changing the entire dial.
