1954 was the year that saw the launch of a Rolex that would forever hold its place in horological history the Submariner. Part of the first references ever launched (one can also find references 6200 and 6204 dating from the same year), the reference 6205 was only made for about one year. Some of these models did not feature the word Submariner such as this one, and had also an iconic second hand featuring a lollipop at its extremity.
