Reference 6234 was made from the 1940s to the 1960s. The reference appears in Rolex catalogues until 1963. It is found in 2 distinct versions: one featuring large counters and the other, such as this example, featuring small counters that do not overlap on the telemeter scale. This example has been very well conserved and is still fitted with its original dial showing some light patina. La référence 6234 fut produite de 1940 jusqu'en 1960 et apparaît dans les catalogues Rolex jusqu'en 1963. Faite en 2 versions distinctes, une avec des gros compteurs et la seconde, comme cet exemple avec des petits compteurs qui ne débordent pas sur les échelles tachymètre et télémètre extérieurs. Maintenu en excellent état avec son cadran d'origine et un beau bracelet Rolex riveté, un bel exemplaire de la référence 6234, digne prédécesseur à la future Cosmographe
