The Rolex reference 6234 is one of the first Pre-Daytona that was announcing the future looks of Daytonas. Featuring a modern design, a screw-down caseback and a nice 36 mm.diameter, this example features a rare black dial that was made in very small quantities in comparison with the regular silver dials. Featuring small sub-dials to allow for the double outer scale, it is one of the most elegant chronographs to be offered to the public at that time.
