ROLEX REF 6239 COSMOGRAPH DAYTONA TROPICAL DIAL Rolex, "Cosmograph Daytona" case No. 1083522, Ref. 6239. Made in 1964. Very fine and rare, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, tachometer and a Rolex Ref. 7205 riveted bracelet with deployant clasp.

Three-body, polished and brushed, tachometer graduation on the steel bezel to 300 units per hour, screwed-down case back and winding crown. Bicolor silver and black/brown with applied steel baton indexes and luminous dots, outer 1/5th seconds track, subsidiary guilloche dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers. Luminous steel baton hands. Cal. 72B, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, Microstella regulating screws.
