ROLEX REF. 6239 DOUBLE SWISS UNDER LINE STEEL Rolex "Cosmograph", case No.923270, Ref. 6239. Made circa 1962. Very fine and rare, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, tachometer, steel bezel graduated to 300 UPH and a stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet with deployant clasp. Accompanied by a serviced paper in 1968.

Three-body, polished and brushed, curved lugs, tachometer on the bezel graduated to 300 units per hour, screwed down case back. Bicolor silver and brown with applied faceted steel baton indexes and luminous dots, outer minutes/seconds divisions, subsidiary brown guilloche dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers. Luminous steel baton hands. Cal. 72B , rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 3 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating free- sprung Breguet balance spring, Microstella regulating screws.
