Notes

Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 37 mm. THICKNESS 14 mm. Approx. overall length 170 mm. Undoubtedly one of the rarest versions of REF. 6239. Having been conserved in all original condition, the first unusual factor is the white grene dial, which is matt and is closer to white than the later silver glossy dials usually found on later versions. Furthermore its sub-counters have turned to a wonderful dark brown patina, combined with the rare double swiss signature on the dial. To further enhance its rarity it does not feature an underline as often found on grene dial, this is only the second known Daytona with these features. For an almost similar example see Ultimate Rolex Daytona by Pucci Papaleo page 101-103
