Notes

Antiquorum is proud to present this exceptional Rolex Reference 6240 Daytona, which represents one of horology’s most pivotal milestones. As the first true “screwed pusher “ Daytona, it established the foundation for all modern Daytona models.
What distinguishes this particular auction example is its original MK0 brass «Millerighe» pushers – the very first prototype screw-down pushers Rolex ever developed. These innovative pushers revolutionized the Daytona by solving its key weakness: making a chronograph truly waterproof for the first time.

Original MK0 pushers are exceptionally rare today, with most replaced during servicing over the decades. For serious collectors, this dramatically affects authenticity and value – making this auction example particularly significant with its original pushers intact. This steel Ref. 6240 represents the crucial transitional link between early Daytona models and the modern icon. A true horological treasure now available for acquisition.
