ROLEX 6240 "PAUL NEWMAN" THIS IS THE FIRST OYSTER... Very fine and very rare stainless steel, manual winding round button chronograph, registers, tachometer scale. Cadran EXOTIQUE appelé "Paul Newman". Très belle et rare montre bracelet en acier étanche, Boîtier rond. Couronne, poussoirs et fond vissés. Lunette avec échelle tachymétrie. * Launched for the first time in 1965, the reference 6240 was manufactured exclusively in steel and included an epoxy bezel with a tachymeter scale. This is the first "Cosmograph" equipped with screwed pushers, which improves water resistance. Produced for only a few years, reference 6240 has evolved to the well-known references 6263 and 6265. *Lancée pour la première fois en 1965, la référence 6240 a été fabriquée exclusivement en acier et comportait une lunette epoxy avec une échelle tachymétrique. Il s'agit notamment du premier "Cosmograph" équipée de poussoirs vissés, ce qui améliore la résistance à l'eau. Produite pendant quelques années seulement, la référence 6240 a évolué vers les références bien connues 6263 et 6265.
