Purchased new at Gioieleria Ottorino in Cremona in 1988, the watch has remained in unworn condition. The case shows no polish with deep mint crisp hallmarks, its caseback sticker still in place with the reference number clearly visible and its bracelet extremely tight. Being an R serial, this Cosmograph was produced towards the end of the production of manual Daytonas and to find one in this exceptional state of conservation is like finding a needle in a haystack.
