Notes

The present Cosmograph Daytona is fitted with an attractive black Sigma dial displaying the characteristic Sigma signatures flanking the lower dial designation, indicating the use of precious metal components for the applied indexes. Further enhancing its desirability are the early Mk1 screw-down pushers, a highly sought-after feature found on early production examples. The watch is additionally distinguished by double internal caseback engravings, an unusual manufacturing characteristic appreciated by collectors. Preserved on its Rolex Oyster bracelet Ref. 78350 with 571 end-links and I10 clasp code, the present example combines highly collectible dial characteristics together with desirable period-correct bracelet and case details, reinforcing the enduring appeal of vintage manually wound Daytona production.
