Rolex references 6263 and 6265 were launched at the beginning of the 1970’s in order to replace the previous references 6262 and 6264. The Ref. 6265 and 6263 are being produced simultaneously, from 1971 to 1987 – production of the Ref. 6265 will continue up to 1988. The chronograph’s screwed pushers on the case-band brought an essential improvement: the waterproofness at 50 metres.
