ROLEX REF 6309 THUNDERBIRD RED DATEJUST PINK GOLD Rolex, "Oyster Perpetual, DateJust, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified", Ref. 6309, case No.141385. Made in 1955. Fine and rare, tonneau-shaped, center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K pink gold wristwatch with date and a 18K pink gold Rolex jubile bracelet.

Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, screwed-down back with dedication inscription and crown, reeded and graduated 18K pink gold bezel embossed with Arabic numerals in relief for 60-minute graduation, crystal with Cyclops lens. Pink with applied pink gold faceted dart indexes, outer minutes/seconds divisions, aperture for the date. Pink gold "Alpha" hands. 10 1/2''' rhodium plated, 18 jewels, lever escapement, Superbalance balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring.

Kept in excellent condition and featuring many features sought after by collectors: the early RED DATEJUST on the dial, the early roulette dial, a well conserved Jubilee bracelet dated 1953 and a near perfect pink dial that matches perfectly with the case.
