Collectors know how difficult it is to find an untouched reference 6542. Due to radiation concerns most original bakelite inserts were either replaced or broken, this example has remained just like the day it was delivered in 1957 with its original gilt chapter dial that has turned to a wonderful caramel color due to the radiation of the indexes and hands (the Geiger counter measures in at more than 115 proving without a doubt its originality).
