Produced for 5 years only the Explorer 6610 is much rarer than the reference 1016 which became the longest produced vintage Explorer starting in 1963 until 1990. Characterised by its gilt chapter dial featuring the words officially certified chronometer (known as OCC), this example produced at the beginning of 1957 has been kept in wonderful original condition with a very well conserved dial, original hands and a strong Geiger counter reading (over 2.0) confirming its originality. Early explorers have constantly increased in value these last 10 years due to the rarity of finding them in all original condition.
