Notes

The Rolex Prince reference 971 was launched in 1928 and was destined for Doctors. Featured a subsidiary second register below the hours and minutes section of the dial, the model enabled a doctor to time pulses and respiration. Fitted with a chronometer movement, it allowed a very high precision for the period. The case, recognizable among all of them, is nicknamed "brancard", due to the rectangular curved shape.
This present example has the particularity to be in 9k yellow and white gold, offering a two-tone color case, hence its moniker "zebra". Extremely rare to find in this two-tone gold combination, this watch is furthermore very well preserved.
