SAVOYE FRERES, CARILLON MINUTE REPEATER CHRONOGRAPH, FIRST CLASS Savoye Freres & Cie, retailed by Charpentier, No. 292121. Very fine and extremely rare, keyless pocket chronometer, 18k yellow gold pocket watch with chronograph and carillon minute repeater. Made circa 1907. Accompanied by a fitted box and the Bulletin de premiere Classe de l'Observatoire National de Besancon, in 1908.

Four body, massive, polished, hinged gold cuvette, outside cover with applied monogram. White enamel with arabic numerals, outer minutes ring and sunk subsidiary seconds, subsidiary dial for 30-minute counter. Pink gold "spade" hands. Gilt brass, 20 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance adjusted by Jaccard, blued-steel balance spring with terminal curve.
