Notes

Launched in 1975, this early version of the "Tuna" diver's watch marked a new milestone in diver's watches. Measuring a large 50 mm in diameter, it was truly designed for underwater usage. Its ceramic coated titanium case was the world's first 600m titanium dive watch and its development resulted in more than 20 patents, this current example has been kept in close to new condition and has probably never been used for diving.

Provenance

Property of a Japanese collector
