Poising-tool
This tool has two polished knife-edges fixed into jaws, the distance between which can be adjusted by means of the screw. An integrated or separate spirit-level enables the knife-edges to be set perfectly horizontal. This is done by adjusting the length of one of the feet of the tool, by means of the screw.
