Notes

Based on the Gregorian calendar introduced in 1582, it adopted the system based on a year of 365 days with a leap year of 366 days every four years. Pope Gregory found this system to be inaccurate so corrected the calendar by 10 days and introduced a special secular leap year calendar. In this newly corrected system only years that were considered to be divisible by 400 are considered to be leap years. Therefore the years 2100,2200,2300 are not leap years and have only 28 days in February. Most of the perpetual calendar watches and clocks have normal leap year cycles and Svend Andersen?s (just like Patek?s caliber 89) was the first hundred percent perpetual calendar wristwatch
