Four-body, underside realistically chased and engraved with legs and underbody, wing covers entirely decorated in translucent red enamel over engine-turning and set with rose-cut diamonds, the thorax with a diamond-set and black enamel collar, ruby eyes, spring loaded wing covers hinged and opening from a button in the base to reveal the dial. D. White enamel with radial blue Arabic numerals, outer gold dot minute divisions. Gold spade hands. M. 7??, matte gilt, 8 jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Total length 43 mm.
