TAG HEUER CARRERA, 300 SLR, CALIBER 1887 Tag Heuer, "Carrera, 300 SLR, For Mercedes-Benz, Automatic", No. 4259/5000, case No. EPY8741, Ref. CAR2112-1. Made in a limited edition of 5000 pieces, sold on December 19th, 2012. Fine, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, date and a stainless steel Tag Heuer deployant clasp. Accompanied by a fitted box, guarantee card and user manual.

Three-body, polished and brushed, reeded bezel, caseback engraved with a Mercedes 300 SLR. Silver, applied steel faceted baton indexes, minute and 1/5th second division, outer tachometer scale, subsidiary silver dials for the seconds, 30-minute and 12-hours registers, aperture for the date at 6. Luminous steel baton hands. Cal. 1887, rhodium-plated, 39 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, micrometer regulator, hack mechanism. Dial, case and movement signed.
