Back in 2000, when Real McCoy's founder, Hiroshi Okamoto, opened his speciality boutique called Contraband, a small series of customised Submariners and Seadwellers were offered for sale, exclusively through the store. Due to his fascination with Steve McQueen, this edition, using a Submariner 16610 as a base, had a customised dial as well as caseback engravings. It comes accompanied by a fitted box and a warranty from Real McCoy's.
