A very fine ebonized and ormolu-mounted hour-striking, quarter hour carillon repeating bracket clock with date. Rectangular, glazed side panels, hinged back and front doors, the front with applied repousse decoration, ebonized dome, hinged ormolu handle. Silvered chapter ring dial with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring, subsidiary dials for Chime/Silent and regulator scale index. Blued steel "Louis XIV" hands. Polished gilt brass dial plate with applied gilt bronze spandrels and further decoration.
