A very fine and elegant, ebony, manual wind eight-day going bracket clock with central seconds, striking the hours, half-hours, and quarters on six bells with musical movement. The white enamel dial features a date display, moon phases, and an indicator for chime or silent mode.

Year Circa 1790

Caliber Rectangular brass bracket clock, with three trains driven by fusee and chain, and a verge escapement. The brass pendulum, with a small tear-drop bob, swings between cycloidal cheeks. The six-bell carillon repeater strikes the hours, quarters, and half-hours on demand via six hammers. The backplate is finely engraved with scrolling foliate decoration.
