C. Four-body, bassine, polished, case back engraved emblem, slide for locking the chronograph at 11, button for split-seconds between 10 and 11. Hinged gold cuvette engraved William A. Gaston from Robert Bacon, December 25, 1897.
D. White enamel dial with radial Arabic numerals, outer minute and 1/5 second divisions, outermost red Arabic five second numerals, subsidiary dials for the seconds and 60-minute register. Blue steel spade hands.
M. 16 1/4 ???, three-quarter plate, 32 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan neck micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 46 mm. Thickness 14 mm.
