Notes

Tissot, “Navigator”

This model was presented at the Exhibition “Montres et Bijoux” in Geneva in 1952. While the steel and gold plated versions are much more common, examples in full 18k or 14k gold (such as this example) are rarely seen and early examples also feature a snap-back which was later abandoned for a screw-down caseback.
