Notes

In 1970, Tudor, often considered to be the youngest member of the Rolex family, produced its first chronographs called Oysterdate. Thus simultaneously, two references are launched: the 7031 and the 7032. While the first has a black bezel, the second has a smooth bezel, a tribute to the reference 6265 by Rolex. Here, the wristwatch is a reference 7032 with a stainless steel smooth bezel. The model was nicknamed “Home Plate” by collectors, because of its dial so characteristic that one can imagine as the home base of a baseball field. Innovative yet classic in design, the Tudor “Home Plate” is an essential part of a collection that reflects the evolution of modern chronographs.
