Ulysse Nardin, Locle, No. 7926, December 1893. Retailed by Th. Dartigues, agent in Buenos-Aires. Very fine and unusual silver, moon phase astronomical, keyless watch with perpetual calendar.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine", polished. Hinged silver cuvette with engine-turned border. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer minute ring, sunk subsidiary dials for the days of the week, the months with inner leap-year cycle, dates and subsidiary seconds with inner moon phase aperture, its age on the border. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 19"', nickel plated, 18 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with swan neck micrometric index. Signed on the dial , case and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 56 mm.

A perpetual calendar watch with a silver case is fairly rare, such an expensive watch would usually be cased in gold.
