Four body, massive, "grande gouge", polished, the back decorated with a monument, military trophies, the National coat-of-arms of Switzerland flanked by those of Winterthur, with the date: Fidgenossisches Schiitzenfest in Winterthur, 1895 and further foliage decoration. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 19"', nickel plated, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the dial, case and movement. h1 very good condition. Diam. 49 mm
