Notes

Very unusual pocket chronometer with a revolving escapement. hlvented by Bonniksen, the Karrusel 52 1/2 minute revolving regulator, was almost always fitted with an English lateral lever escapement. This chronometer is fitted with a spring detent escapement, set on a gilt brass carriage, revolving in 52 1/2 minutes. According to Ulysse Nardin, only two such watches were ever produced, the second one being in the museum of the company.
