Fine silver cased keyless deck-watch with 36 hour revolving power reserve indicator, awarded a Second Prize with Bulletin of First Class for the timing contest organised at the Astronomical Observatory of Neuchatel in 1914, in original mahogany fitted box.

Silver cuvette engraved: Prime par 1'Etat en Classe de Bord et lere Classe an Contours de l'Observatoire Astrouomique de Neuchatel. Three body mahogany, deck-watch box with brass fittings. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, sunk subsidiary seconds and revolving disc Up-and-Down scale. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 22"', frosted and gilt, 21 jewels, straight line lever escapement, brass-invar Guillaume balance, eight adjustments, blued steel balance spring with terminal curve and swan neck micrometric index. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In very good condition, with copy of the Observatory records. Diam. 64 mm.
