Four body, massive, "demi-bassine", band and borders engine-turned in a vermicelli pattern, the cover chased with a standing lion holding a shield engraved with the monogram "J.F.G.", and further foliage decoration, the back decorated en suite with foliage only.Hinged gold cuvette decorated with medals awarded in exhibitions and timing contests. D. White enamel with Empire Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "spade" hands. M. 19"', frosted and gilt, bar calibre, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In very good condition.
