?Deck Chronometer? Ulysse Nardin - Locle, No. 28098. Made for the British Navy, in 1945. Very fine silver keyless deck chronometer with Guillaume balance. Accompanied by the original wooden deck box.
C. Three-body, "bassine et filets", engine turned screwed back with reeded edge. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute ring, subsidiary sunk seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 21''', frosted and gilt, 19 jewels, straight line lever escapement, anibal-brass Guillaume balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with terminal curve, "swan-neck" micrometric regulator, pin-set. Dial, case and movement signed, case also signed CW with British Navy arrow. Diam. 55 mm.
