"Chronograph with Guillaume Balance" Ulysse Nardin, Locle & Genève, No. 13843, case No. 9693. Made for the Hispanic market, in 1914. Very fine and rare, hunting-cased, keyless, 18K yellow gold pocket watch with oval button chronograph, progressive 30-minute register and Guillaume balance.
C. Four-body, "bassine", solid, the covers engraved with bamboo stems and storks in flight, engraved band. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer minute and fifths of a second chronograph divisions, subsidiary seconds dial at 6, 30-minute register at 12. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Cal. 19''', rhodium-plated,"fausses côtes" decoration, 30 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, anibal-brass Guillaume balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, visible chronograph mechanism. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 54 mm.
