ULYSSE NARDIN PINK GOLD MINUTE-REPEATING & CHRONOGRAPH Ulysse Nardin, Locle, Suisse, No. 14973. Made circa 1920. Very fine and rare, large, minute-repeating, keyless, 18K pink gold pocket watch with oval button chronograph and instantaneous 30-minute register.

C. Four-body, "bassine", engine-turned with polished borders, button for start/stop/return-to-zero of the chronograph at 12. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions and concentric fi fths of a second chronograph divisions, Arabic fi ve-second numerals, subsidiary dials for the seconds and 30-minute register. Blued steel spade hands. M. Cal. 20''', rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 36 jewels, wolf?s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold temperature adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring with terminal curve, index regulator, visible chronograph mechanism, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial, case and cuvette signed. Diam. 61.5 mm.
