Ulysse Nardin, Locle, Suisse, No. 127952, case No. 714375, circa 1957. Very fine and important 18K gold, hunting-cased, keyless, triple-complicated slim astronomical minute-repeating watch with split-seconds chronograph, 30-minute register, perpetual calendar, and phases of the moon.
C. Five-body, ?bassine?, polished, gold hinged cuvette. D. Silver, gold indexes, outer minute divisions with outermost chronograph track divided into fifths, four subsidiary sunk dials for days of the week, date, months of the four-year leap cycle concentric with minute register, and subsidiary seconds concentric with phases of the moon aperture. Gold ?Feuille? hands. M. 44 mm (20???), rhodium-plated, ?fausses-côtes? decoration, 46 jewels, 7 adjustments, straight line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with Breguet balance-spring, repeating on gongs through activating slide in the band.Signed on dial, case and movement.Diam. 51 mm.
